After You Book
Complete the four steps below before your call. The more prepared you are, the more specific and useful we can be on day one.
Before Your Call — Complete These Steps
Understand exactly how our methodology works before the call. It'll make the conversation 10x more productive — and you'll know the right questions to ask.
Download BriefA 5-minute walkthrough of how V&V originates proprietary deal flow — what the system looks like, what it produces, and why it works where conventional methods don't.
Watch NowThe more specific your thesis coming into the call, the faster we can assess fit and scope your engagement. See the checklist below for exactly what to prepare.
View ChecklistIf you have an acquirer deck, one-pager, or mandate overview — send it to us before the call. We'll review it in advance so we can speak to your thesis specifically.

You don't need all of this — but the more you have, the more specific and useful our first conversation will be.
Your target sector and geography. Specific vertical and region, not broad categories. "Commercial HVAC in the Mountain West" not "B2B services."
Financial parameters. Your target EBITDA range and revenue range. Deal size floor and ceiling.
Capital status. Whether you have committed capital, a fund structure, or are operating as a fundless sponsor. This shapes the mandate narrative.
Your timeline. When do you want to be in qualified conversations? Are you ready to transact now or building pipeline for 6-12 months out?
What you've already tried. Any outreach, broker relationships, or origination attempts you've run — even if they didn't work. Context helps us scope the engagement.
Your pitch deck or mandate overview. Optional but useful. Even a rough one-pager gives us the narrative foundation faster.
"The most durable deals are originated, not discovered. The firms winning in the lower middle market reach owners before the deal exists."
